Rosemary completed the national 3 Peaks with Greg Pye as her leader. Below is what he recieved shortly after:
Dear Greg,
Over the last few months I have listened to other people singing your praises. Now that I have had the experience of being in a team led by you, I understand what they are trying to say.
The National 3 Peaks Challenge is recognised as a big effort for all those attempting it, but we who took part last weekend only had to get fit enough to do it and then follow your instructions. The planning and preparatory work that you put into organising the event is much more in depth than could be imagined.
During the whole length of our time together, you were the ultimate professional leader, inspiring total trust and confidence. I can only guess at the combination of skills you have developed to be able to look after a diverse group of people in such a situation - you understood us as individuals and what we each needed at different times to keep going.
I would just like to say a big thank you for EVERYTHING you did to make the 3 Peaks Challenge such an enjoyable and rewarding one. I have no hesitation in recommending people to sign up for any activity that bears your name.
