Teams from Smart Storage Ltd have successfully completed the 3 Peaks Challenge twice with Go Commando. Managing Director Jon Wyles said:

Go Commando have helped Smart Storage successfully complete two Three Peaks Challenges over the past two years. The principle aim of both was as a charity raising event to support North West Cancer Research Fund. On both occasions Greg and his team organised all elements of the challenge including a training walk in Wales prior to the event. Advice was provided on equipment, pre challenge training as well as food and drink on the day.

The actual event was an adventure! Plenty of anticipation and excitement by all those who took part. There is no question it was a challenge, particularly the first time as this was in November. However you cannot measure the sense of achievement when you walk down the last part of Snowdon.

The trip was a success on a number of levels. Firstly we raised a substantial amount of funds for a very worthwhile cause. We also involved people from all areas of our business and it became a real team building exercise. A number of participants had never untaken such a challenge and it opened their eyes to new and exciting opportunities.

In summary, the event was very well organised, not only on the day, but also prior to the challenge, with excellent help and advice to prepare. Throughout the weekend, encouragement and motivation was overflowing, even in the early hours of the morning. We felt safe and confident we would complete the challenge thanks to Greg and his team!
